More than 300 South Koreans detained in a recent U.S. immigration raid will reportedly depart the United States at noon on Thursday local time.

A foreign ministry official said efforts are underway to have the detainees return on a chartered flight from an airport in Atlanta at 12 p.m. Thursday, or 1 a.m. Friday, Korea Standard Time.

According to the ministry, a total of 317 South Korean nationals – 307 men and ten women – were detained in last week's raid on a Hyundai plant site in the state of Georgia.

One Korean worker has reportedly opted to remain in the U.S., leaving 316 South Koreans scheduled to board the flight.

The chartered plane will also carry 14 foreign nationals who were detained from the same site: 10 from China, three from Japan, and one from Indonesia.
