Scattered showers are forecast late Friday in parts of Seoul, the capital region, and Chungcheong and Jeolla provinces.

Rain will expand from the central region early Saturday to Gangwon, North Chungcheong, and Jeolla provinces Saturday morning, reaching the Gyeongsang region by afternoon.

Some areas could see strong downpours with gusty winds, thunder, and lightning.

Precipitation is expected to continue into Sunday, with 30 to 80 millimeters nationwide and more than 100 millimeters possible in parts of Gyeonggi and North Jeolla.

Morning lows on Saturday will range from 21 to 26 degrees Celsius, with daytime highs between 28 and 34 degrees.

Waves at sea are forecast to remain relatively calm, at zero-point-five to two meters across all waters.
