President Lee Jae Myung’s approval rating rose to 65 percent in a recent poll.

According to the poll of one-thousand-one adults nationwide, conducted by Gallup from Tuesday to Thursday, 65 percent of the respondents said Lee is managing state affairs well, up one percentage point from the previous week. 

Meanwhile, 23 percent said he is doing poorly, while 12 percent were unsure.

Public support for the ruling Democratic Party rose to 46 percent, while the approval rating for the opposition People Power Party fell to 22 percent, with the gap widening to 24 percentage points. 

The survey had a confidence level of 95 percent, with a margin of error of plus or minus three-point-one percentage points.
