Most parts of the nation will see rain or sudden showers on Tuesday amid sweltering heat.

According to the Korea Meteorological Administration on Monday, the Seoul metro area and Gangwon Province’s inland and mountainous regions are expected to witness around five millimeters of rain between dawn and morning Tuesday. 

The weather agency forecast that five to 40 millimeters of sudden showers will fall in most parts of the nation between morning and the evening on Tuesday. 

Morning lows will stand between 22 and 27 degrees Celsius while afternoon highs will range between 27 and 35 degrees.
