The Chinese player, however, settled down and ground out a hard-earned 11-9 win in the second game.
In the third and fourth game, Rhy outperformed Wang with concentration power and mind control, winning them both 11 to 9.
Howver, Ryu gave the fifth game away to Wang 11 to 13.
The final game was neck-and-neck until Ryu opened up a three-point gap and triumphed over the Chinese opponent 11 to 9.
