Fire authorities are putting out a fire that broke out at the COEX exhibition center in southern Seoul on Friday morning. 

Fire officials said they received the report at 11:06 a.m alerting them to the fire, which is believed to have started in a restaurant on the second floor of the building. 

Fire authorities reportedly contained the main flames at 11:42 a.m. 

Footage of the building shows thick smoke rising from it.
