All three South Korean fencers failed to move on from the final eight in the epee fencing competition.
Tennis sensation Lee Hyungtaek and female tennis star Cho Yoonjeong have both glided through their first rounds at the Athens Olympics.
Still only a bronze medal in judo, the second day also struck no luck for the South Korean team, ranking 25th, while other Asian countries are faring well.
China with five golds is followed by Japan and Australia with four gold medals in the second place.
And a reminder from Sunday, the Olympic football team beat Mexico 1-0, inching closer to the quarterfinals. The team only needs a draw with Mali on Tuesday to book a spot in the last eight.
For the first time in history, a South Korean swimmer made it the finals at the Olympic games. Nam Yooseon ended 7th in the final round in the women's 400-meter individual medley.
Gymnast Yang Taeyoung moved into the finals, ranking 2nd in the individual event.
