S. Korea's Judo Champion Wins a Bronze -1st Medal in Athens

South Korea's judo champion Choi Min-ho won a bronze medal in the men's under-60-kilogram division at the Athens Olympics.
He failed to move on to the semifinals Saturday after beaten by Mongolia's Tsagaanbaatar Khashbaatar.
The judo champion of 2003 suffered the unexpected defeat after having a cramp in his leg during the game.
However, he grabbed a bronze medal in consolidation matches held on the same day, bringing Korea the first medal from Athens.
Choi was cited as a gold medalist in the event.
