Table Tennis Players of Two Koreas Mingle in Joint Training

Olympic table tennis players of South and North Korea have engaged in a joint training session in Athens for the first time, imparting a mood of harmony to the world sports event.

The joint exercise was carried out Thursday at the Galati Olympic Hall amid a friendly atmosphere and cheers from athletes of both Koreas.

South Korean table tennis players paired up with players from the North, wearing white uniforms bearing an image of a unified Korean Peninsula.

The joint training session was closed to the public upon the request of North Korea.
