South Korea's Olympic Committee Chairman Lee Yoon-taek and his North Korean counterpart, Moon Jae-deock, will meet the President of the International Olympic Committee on Friday.
The three sports officials are scheduled to discuss the joint entry of the two Koreas in the opening ceremony of the Athens Summer Games, slated to take place early Saturday morning, Korean time.
IOC President Jacques Rogge is expected to thank the two Koreas for their efforts in realizing the joint Olympic march, saying the event will greatly contribute to enhancing the prestige of the Olympics games which are based on the spirit of harmony, friendship, peace and unity.
During the trilateral meeting, Lee and Moon are also expected to exchange views on the idea of fielding a unified team for the 2008 Beijing Olympics and also seek ways to promote sports exchanges between their two countries.
