A global consulting firm in the United States has forecast that South Korea will be among the top ten medal winners in the upcoming summer Olympics in Athens.

Price Waterhouse Coopers (PWC) said Tuesday South Korea would win a combined 24 gold, silver and bronze medals, which would put the country among the top ten in overall rankings.

PWC predicted the top medal winners would be the U.S., Russia, China, Germany, Australia, France, Greece, Italy, Britain and South Korea.

Meanwhile, results of a local online survey showed North Korea was expected to rank among the top 20.
