The main opposition Democratic Party(DP) will stage a rally on Saturday, calling for a special counsel probe on first lady Kim Keon-hee.

The rally, set to begin in Seoul's Gwanghwamun area at 5 p.m., will be the fifth outdoor rally to ramp up pressure on the ruling camp to accept the special probe bill.

In a text message to party members, DP leader Lee Jae-myung said the truth will prevail, before pledging to walk the path towards the truth with the people.

Lee also urged party members to come out to the rally for the nation owned by its people.
