A fire broke out Sunday at a POSCO factory in the southeastern city of Pohang, North Gyeongsang Province, just two weeks after an earlier blaze. 

Fire authorities said they received a report about the fire at the steel plant’s third FINEX furnace at 11:18 p.m. Sunday. 

The blaze was contained by 12:17 a.m. Monday and completely extinguished about two hours later, with 21 fire trucks and about 50 firefighters deployed.

No casualties were reported. 

Fire authorities are working to determine the exact cause of the fire and the extent of the damage. 

The same factory previously caught fire November 10, burning an employee and causing damage to the facility.
