President Yoon Suk Yeol will hold summit talks with Latvian President Edgars Rinkevics next week during his four-day working visit starting Wednesday.

According to Seoul's presidential office on Friday, the leaders are scheduled to meet in Seoul on Thursday to discuss the two sides' substantive cooperation and their efforts to tackle issues on the regional and international stage.

Latvia, a member of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization(NATO), signed a security agreement with Ukraine earlier this year on providing military support to the war-ravaged country.

The two leaders are expected to exchange views on North Korea's deployment of troops to Russia in support of its military offensive in Ukraine.
