Temperatures are expected to range from mild to average this winter, with many warm days in the forecast.

The Korea Meteorological Administration(KMA) said on Friday that high sea temperatures in waters around the Korean Peninsula and stronger jet streams will raise the country’s temperatures.

The KMA said temperatures are likely to be close to average in December and January, and warmer than usual in February, but it predicts significant temperature fluctuations this winter.

The weather agency predicts less precipitation than usual in December and January but expects precipitation to return to average levels in February.
