South Korean slugger Lee Seung-yeop of Japan's Chiba Lotte Marines has hit a solo home run in its game against the Nippon Ham Fighters.

Tuesday's home-run was Lee's first in 45 days and the sixth since the 26-year-old debuted in the Japanese pro baseball league earlier this year.

Lee hit the homer into left field in the bottom of the seventh inning at Chiba Marines Stadium in eastern Japan.

Lee set a new Asian single-season record after hitting 56 homer runs last year in the South Korean baseball league. However, he has been suffering a long slump in his first season in Japan, and was sent down for a stint in the minors earlier this year.
