The military has asked for the public’s understanding over noise across Seoul caused by air show training on Wednesday afternoon ahead of events marking the 75th Armed Forces Day.

The Air Force's flight display team, the Black Eagles, plans to practice in the skies over Yeouido Hangang Park, Gwanghwamun and Sungnyemun from 3 to 3:30 p.m.

On Thursday, the team is scheduled to train over the Han River near Seoul Battleship Park in Mapo District, Gwanghwamun and Yeouido for 30 minutes starting at 10 a.m. and again from 3 p.m.

The defense ministry is also preparing various military cultural programs near the Han River, Gwanghwamun and Seoul City Hall next month ahead of the national ceremony on September 26 marking Armed Forces Day on October 1.
