New COVID-19 Cases at 13,791

The nation added more than 13-thousand new COVID-19 cases on Thursday.

The Central Disease Control Headquarters said on Friday that 13-thousand-791 infections were reported throughout Thursday, including 22 from overseas, bringing the total caseload to over 31 million-142-thousand.

The figure dropped by some 500 from the previous day, but rose by about 200 from a week prior. Compared to two weeks ago, the figure rose by over two-thousand.

The number of hospitalized patients in intensive care is down by seven from the previous day to 144.

Thursday added eleven deaths to raise the death toll to 34-thousand-471, with the overall fatality rate remaining at zero-point-11 percent.
