New COVID-19 Cases at 10,335

New COVID-19 cases registered in the ten-thousands on Friday.

The Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency(KDCA) said on Friday that ten-thousand-335 infections were reported throughout Thursday, including ten from overseas, bringing the total caseload to around 30-million-615-thousand.

The figure is down by some 500 from a day ago and 73 from a week ago, but rose by about 300 compared to two weeks ago. The figures are posting on-week increases since late last week.

The number of critically ill patients under hospital care rose by three from the previous day to 146.

Thursday added 12 deaths, raising the death toll to 34-thousand-93. The overall fatality rate stands at zero-point-11 percent.
