New COVID-19 Cases in 20,000s for 4th Day

New COVID-19 cases have registered in the 20-thousand range for the fourth day in a row.

The Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency (KDCA) said Sunday that 21-thousand-469 infections were reported throughout the previous day, including 87 from overseas.

The daily tally is down nearly seven-thousand from a day ago but is up by some 38-hundred from a week ago.

The cumulative caseload came to around 25 million-120-thousand.

The number of critically ill patients increased by two from a day ago to 247.

Saturday reported 32 deaths, raising the death toll to 28-thousand-840. The overall fatality rate stands at zero-point-11 percent.
