South Korean slugger Lee Seung-yeop hit his second home run of the season Monday as the Chiba Lotte Marines downed the Nippon Ham Fighters four to one in the Japanese Pacific League.
The 27-year-old hit a 125-meter shot off Nippon Ham pitcher Tsutomu Iwamoto in the bottom of the sixth inning, notching a homer for the second consecutive day at Chiba Marines Stadium in eastern Japan.
Earlier on Sunday, the former Samsung Lions player hit his first home run of the season in his eighth game since his debut in the Japanese Pacific League.
Lee hit 56 homers in South Korea last year to set a new Asian baseball single-season record.
