The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) fell 29-point-57 points, or one-point-13 percent, on Friday, closing the week at two-thousand-595-point-87.

The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also fell, dropping seven-point-32 points, or zero-point-83 percent, to close at 869-point-86.

On the foreign exchange, the local currency weakened 12 won against the dollar, ending the day at one-thousand-268-point-nine won.
