The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) dropped zero-point-71 points, or zero-point-03 percent, on Thursday, closing the day at two-thousand-625-point-44.

The tech-heavy KOSDAQ rose however, gaining two-point-23 points, or zero-point-25 percent, to close at 877-point-18.

On the foreign exchange, the local currency weakened three-point-one won against the dollar, ending the day at one-thousand-256-point-nine won.
