APOSA General Session Kicks off in Seoul Thursday

A general session of the Asia Pacific Oceania Sports Association (APOSA) opened in Seoul Thursday.

Delegates representing 19 member countries including the association's chairman Choi Man-lip and four International Olympic Committee members are participating in the two-day session. Topics of discussions include strengthening sports exchanges and developmentbetween member countries during the two-day meeting.

Korean Olympic Committee Chairman Lee Yeon-taek attended the opening ceremony of the meeting earlier in the day and encouraged the member countries to seek mutual cooperation and exert full efforts for the development of sports in the region.
