The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) rose nine-point-52 points, or zero-point-35 percent, on Thursday, closing the day at two-thousand-728-point-21.

The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also rose, gaining zero-point-75 points, or zero-point-08 percent, to close at 929-point-68.

On the foreign exchange, the local currency weakened two-point-nine won against the dollar, ending the day at one-thousand-239 won.
