Exports Rise 29.3% in First 10 Days of Nov.

Exports rose by nearly 30 percent on-year in the first ten days of November. 

According to tentative data from the Korea Customs Service on Thursday, the country’s outbound shipments stood at 18-point-three billion U.S. dollars in the cited period, up 29-point-three percent from a year earlier. 

Average daily exports grew by 14-point-one percent, with the number of working days rising by one from last year. 

Shipments of semiconductors and petroleum products rose 45-point-three percent and 81-point-five percent, respectively, while exports of ships and wireless communication devices fell 60-point-seven percent and ten percent, each.

Exports to China rose 34-point-nine percent and by 20-point-eight percent to the United States.

Imports increased 59 percent on-year to 21-point-two billion dollars during the cited period.
