Over 50% of Population Fully Vaccinated as of Thursday

Over 50 percent of the country’s population has now completed COVID-19 vaccinations.

According to the state vaccine task force on Friday, as of midnight, 25-point-seven million people were fully vaccinated, coming to 50-point-one percent of the population and 58-point-two percent of all adults 18 and older.

Overall, 39-point-35 million people have received at least one shot, which comes to 76-point-six percent of the population, or 89-point-one percent of all adults.

On Thursday alone, 343-thousand-752 people had their first shot, while 541-thousand-143 people completed their required shots in accordance with each vaccine type.

Vaccines developed by AstraZeneca, Pfizer, Moderna and Janssen are currently being administered in the nationwide vaccination program.
