The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) fell 15-point-91 points, or zero-point-50 percent on Tuesday, closing the day at three-thousand-187-point-42.

The tech-heavy KOSDAQ rose however, gaining one-point-47 points, or zero-point-14 percent, to close at one-thousand-54-point-43.

On the foreign exchange, the local currency weakened one-point-three won against the dollar, ending the day at one-thousand-157-point-eight won.
