Over one-point-two million doses of the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine arrived in the country on Sunday, with another batch set to arrive on Monday.

According to the state vaccine task force on Sunday, a flight carrying around one-point-26 million doses of the vaccine landed at Incheon International Airport in the afternoon.

Another shipment of some two-point-55 million doses will arrive on Monday afternoon. 

Moderna had promised to send seven-point-01 million doses by the first week of September after a South Korean delegation visited the firm's headquarters in the U.S. last month to complain about shipment delays.   

It has since shipped six-point-75 million doses, including the shipment planned for Monday.
