1.5 Mln COVID-19 Vaccines to Be Received from Romania

One-point-five million doses of COVID-19 vaccines are set to be brought into the country from Romania through a bilateral cooperation agreement.

The Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasures Headquarters said on Wednesday that one-point-05 million doses of the Pfizer vaccine and 450-thousand doses of Moderna will arrive on Thursday and September 8.

The government purchased the Pfizer vaccines from Romania, while the Moderna vaccines will be exchanged with medical supplies.

The expiration date for the Pfizer vaccines is September 30, while the Moderna vaccines expire between November 12 and December 5. They are set to be administered to people aged between 18 and 49.
