South Korea has secured at least three more bronze medals in table tennis at the Tokyo Paralympics.

Two South Korean men’s trios competing in Class 1 to 2 and Class 4 to 5 beat Spain and Poland, respectively, in the quarterfinals at the Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium on Tuesday.

A women’s trio in Class 1 to 3 also advanced to the semifinals after defeating Brazil 2 to 1 on the same day.

In table tennis this year, there is no bronze medal match and all athletes reaching the semifinals secure a medal.

Team Korea has so far clinched one gold, three silver and nine bronze medals at the ongoing Paralympics, all in table tennis except for three earned in judo and shooting.
