The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) recovered ten-point-29 points, or zero-point-33 percent on Monday, closing the day at three-thousand-144-point-19.

The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also rose, gaining eight-point-33 points, or zero-point-81 percent, to close at one-thousand-31-point-84.

On the foreign exchange, the local currency strengthened two-point-two won against the dollar, ending the day at one-thousand-167 won.
