South Korea has added a bronze medal in men’s judo at the Tokyo Paralympics.

Judoka Choi Gwang-geun took the bronze in the men's plus 100 kilogram category after beating Yordani Fernandez Sastre of Cuba at the Nippon Budokan on Sunday.

It was Choi’s third Paralympic medal after the gold medals he won in the minus 100 kilogram category at the 2012 and 2016 Paralympic Games.

With Choi’s medal, South Korea has secured two bronze medals in judo events. As of Sunday, Team Korea had won one silver and eight bronze medals.
