Pfizer and AstraZeneca will supply South Korea with more than two-point-six million doses of COVID-19 vaccines on Wednesday.

According to the state vaccination task force, a Korean Air flight carrying some one-point-six million doses of the Pfizer vaccine will land at Incheon International Airport at 11:15 a.m.

It is part of the 66 million doses that Pfizer pledged to South Korea.

The task force said slightly more than one million AstraZeneca doses will also be shipped from SK Bioscience's factory in Andong, North Gyeongsang Province at around 10 a.m., following the shipment of some one-point-one million doses on Tuesday.

Wednesday’s shipments will raise the nation's vaccine supply so far this month to six-point-72 million doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine and five-point-73 million doses of the Pfizer vaccine.
