The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) fell 28-point-20 points, or zero-point-89 percent on Tuesday, closing the day at three-thousand-143-point-09.

The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also fell, losing 29-point-73 points, or two-point-86 percent, to close at one-thousand-11-point-05.

On the foreign exchange, the local currency weakened seven-point-three won against the dollar, ending the day at one-thousand-176-point-three won.
