Women's Golf Fails to Win Medal at Tokyo Olympics

South Korea failed to win a medal in the women's golf tournament at the Tokyo Olympics.

After four rounds of competition, world No. 1 Nelly Korda of the U.S. came out on top, taking gold. 

Mone Inami of Japan and Lydia Ko of New Zealand tied for second, but Inami took silver in a playoff.

Of Korea's four golfers, world No. 2 Ko Jin-young and No. 4 Kim Sei-young finished tied for ninth, while world No. 6 Kim Hyo-joo finished at 15th at nine-under, 275.

Park In-bee, No. 3 in the world ranking and the gold medalist at the 2016 Rio Games, tied for 23rd at five-under, 279.
