The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) fell 29-point-47 points, or zero-point-91-percent, on Monday, to close at three-thousand-224-point-95.

The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also fell, losing seven-point-87 points, or zero-point-75 percent, to close at one-thousand-47-point-63. 

On the foreign exchange, the local currency weakened four-point-two won against the dollar, ending the session at one-thousand-155 won.
