The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) rose eleven-point-43 points, or zero-point-35 percent, on Monday to close at three-thousand-293-point-21.

The tech-heavy KOSDAQ renewed its yearly high for the third session in a row, gaining nine-point-15 points, or zero-point-88 percent, to close at one-thousand-47-point-33. 

On the foreign exchange counter, the local currency strengthened three-point-two won against the dollar, ending the session at one-thousand-131-point-eight won.
