The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) fell seven-point-35 points, or zero-point-23 percent, on Friday, closing the week at three-thousand-240-point-08.

The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also fell, losing two-point-61 points, or zero-point-26 percent, to close at 987-point-58.

On the foreign exchange, the local currency weakened two-point-nine won against the dollar, ending the day at one-thousand-116-point-five won.
