The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) fell five-point-86 points, or zero-point-19 percent, on Friday, closing the week at three-thousand-156-point-42.

The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also fell, losing five-point-5 points, or zero-point-57 percent, to close at 965-point-63.

On the foreign exchange, the local currency strengthened five won against the dollar, ending the day at one-thousand-127 won.
