The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) dropped ten-point-77 points, or point-34 percent on Thursday, to close at three-thousand-162-point-28.

The tech-heavy KOSDAQ rose two-point-03 points, or point-21 percent, to close at 971-point-13. 

On the foreign exchange, the local currency weakened one-point-five won against the dollar, ending the session at one-thousand-132-point-zero won.
