The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) rose 38-point-53 points, or one-point-23 percent on Tuesday, to close at three-thousand-173-point-05.

The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also rose, gaining six-point-60 points, or zero-point-69 percent, to close at 969-point-10. 

On the foreign exchange, the local currency strengthened four-point-three won against the dollar, ending the session at one-thousand-130-point-five won.
