4.2% of S. Korean Population Receive First COVID-19 Vaccine Dose

A little over four percent of South Korea's population have received the first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine since the mass inoculation program kicked off 57 days ago on February 26th.

According to the vaccination task force, nearly 158-thousand-600 people received their first shots on Friday, the highest daily figure to date.

Over two-point-19 million people have received the first dose so far, accounting for four-point-two percent of South Korea's 52 million population.

Of this total, the AstraZeneca vaccine went to around one-point-27 million and the Pfizer vaccine to the rest.
