The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) rose 21-point-46 points, or zero-point-70 percent, on Tuesday to close at three-thousand-67-point-17.

The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also rose, gaining 13-point-75 points, or one-point-48 percent, to close at 940-po​int-65.

On the foreign exchange, the local currency strengthened six-point-six won against the dollar, ending the session at one-thousand-129-point-seven won.
