South Korea added almost 500 COVID-19 cases to mark the highest number in three weeks. 

The Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency(KDCA) said that 488 cases were confirmed in the 24 hours to 12 a.m. Friday, raising the country's cumulative total to 94-thousand-686.

Of the new cases, 467 were local infections while 21 were imported.
