Some 900 additional cases of reactions to COVID-19 vaccination have been reported to health authorities, raising the total so far to around five-thousand-800 incidents.

According to the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency(KDCA), 935 such reports were recently received and two more deaths were reported, raising the death toll to 15.

Both deaths were nursing home patients in their 50s who died Tuesday after receiving an AstraZeneca shot last Wednesday. A connection between the deaths and inoculation has not yet been verified.

Most of the adverse reactions include relatively light symptoms such as headache, fever and nausea.

South Korea began its vaccination roll-out on February 26 and around 447-thousand people have so far received their first doses as of Wednesday.
