Daily COVID-19 cases have exceeded 600 for the second day in a row. 

The Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency(KDCA) said on Thursday that 621 infections were confirmed in the 24 hours to 12 a.m., raising the country's accumulated caseload to 85-thousand-567.

Of the new cases, 590 were local transmissions while 31 were imported.
