The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) rose 46-point-42 points, or one-point-50 percent, on Monday to close at three-thousand-147.

The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also rose, gaining 17-point-66 points, or one-point-83 percent, to close at 981-point-97.

On the foreign exchange, the local currency strengthened five-point-six won against the dollar, ending the session at one-thousand-101-point-four won.
