Kim Jin-wook, the head of the new Corruption Investigation Office for High-ranking Officials(CIO), is scheduled to meet with Justice Minister Park Beom-kye to discuss ways to cooperate for the first time since they both took office.

Speaking to reporters, Kim said the talks will likely take place over dinner Tuesday evening.

Asked about his meeting with Prosecutor General Yoon Seok-youl the previous day, Kim said they exchanged views on ways for the prosecution to reform and advance.

As for the agreed working-level consultative body between the CIO and the prosecution, Kim said it could be permanently established when deemed necessary, but that discussions are in the early stages.
