The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) fell 42-point-13 points, or one-point-35 percent, on Thursday to close at three-thousand-87-point-55.

The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also fell, losing six-point-11 points, or zero-point-63 percent, to close at 964-point-58.

On the foreign exchange, the local currency weakened three-point-six won against the dollar, ending the session at one-thousand-118-point-five won.
